The City of Esch-sur-Alzette organized an information session on the first edition of its Citizens’ Assembly on 23 February 2026. More than 300 residents attended, making the event a real success.

The session aimed to present the functioning of the Citizens’ Assembly, explain the steps of participation, and answer participants’ questions. Attendees were able to better understand how to stay informed, exchange ideas, and actively contribute to shaping the future of their city.

The City thanks all participants for their interest and engagement. This strong turnout demonstrates the residents’ desire to actively participate in decisions affecting their living environment.

As a reminder, registrations for the Citizens’ Assembly are open until 27 February 2026. Residents who have received an invitation can register via the form or by calling 27 54 24 40. It is essential to enter the personal code included in the invitation.

After the registration period, the City will contact participants to provide all necessary information regarding their selection and the sessions’ schedule.

The Citizens’ Assembly offers every resident the opportunity to have their voice heard and directly contribute to decisions that shape the city.
