The City of Esch is the first city in Luxembourg to launch a Citizens’ Assembly and invites you to take part.
Together with other residents, you will actively contribute to shaping the future of the city.

If you have received an invitation from the City of Esch, you can apply to take part in its first Citizens’ Assembly.
After the registration phase, 40 participants will be selected based on representativeness criteria to jointly develop recommendations for the future of the city.
Members of the Assembly will receive information, exchange views and deliberate within a structured and accessible framework, supported by experienced facilitators.
No prior knowledge is required — your lived experience in Esch is what matters.
A €750 compensation is provided for the full duration of the commitment.

Dispatch of invitations
Invitations are sent to 10,000 residents of Esch-sur-Alzette.

Information session
An information session will take place on 23 February at 6.00 pm, at the City Hall of Esch. It will provide an opportunity to discover the process and discuss how the Citizens’ Assembly works.
